Hanli Wang received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2001 and 2004, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong, in 2007. From 2007 to 2008, he was a Research Fellow with the Department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong. From 2007 to 2008, he was also a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA, USA.  From 2008 to 2009, he was a Research Engineer with Precoad, Inc., Menlo Park, CA, USA. From 2009 to 2010, he was an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow at University of Hagen, Hagen, Germany. Since 2010, he has been a full Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tongji University, Shanghai, China. From May 2011 to July 2016, he was the department associate head. His current research interests include digital video coding, computer vision, pattern recognition, and machine learning. He is an IEEE Senior Member, a member of Humboldt Foundation and a senior member of Chinese Computer Federation (click here for more information). The Multimedia and Intelligent Computing (MIC) Lab was founded by Hanli Wang in 2011, which was affiliated to the Department of Computer Science and Technology of Tongji University and the Key Laboratory of Embedded System and Service Computing, Ministry of Education, China.
Postdoc(招聘博士后)/PhD/MSc Positions Available:
We are currently seeking for highly motivated students to join our MIC Lab as Postdoc fellow, PhD, Master of Science (MSc) students. Successful applicants should be highly interested in developing and implementing image processing, video coding, computer vision algorithms and systems. Desired qualifications include solid knowledge in mathematics and statistics, and good programming skills in Matlab, C/C++, etc. Interested candidates should send one PDF file that contains all related information (CV, list of publications, etc) to Hanli Wang (hanliwang@tongji.edu.cn).
