On October 10th, the Integrated Service Hall on the Siping Campus of Tongji University was officially opened to faculties and students. The Integrated Service Hall of Tongji University is a comprehensive platform for administrative services, aimed at improving service efficiency to facilitate the work of faculty and students.
The hall, which consists of two parts; online and offline, integrates information consultation, approval handling, management and coordination into one platform and provides one-stop services including centralized handling, parallel approval, synergized conducting, and intelligent maintenance. Located in the north side of Tongwen Building, the hall embodies two floors and four areas respectively for ticketing consultation, service handling, waiting and self-service.
At present, it can handle more than 50 services, such as the use of seals, on-campus faculty mobilization, the management of going abroad on business, ‘Four-Tech’ project approval, fixed asset checking, procurement contract stamping, budget adjustment of scientific research project, campus entry permit application and campus ID card claim. At the same time, a number of smart self-services are made accessible to faculties and students through the introduction of a series of self-service machines dedicated for ticket queuing, printing, card claiming, account reporting, campus ID card depositing, as well as 24-hour mail picking.
On the same day, the online service hall (http://service.tongji.edu.cn) also opened, which is capable of handling nearly 100 services for administration, personnel management, finance, foreign affairs, equipment, archives, network information, library resources and so forth.
The service hall on the Siping Campus operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 - 11: 30 and from 13:30 - 17:00. It is closed every Tuesday from 13: 30-15: 00.
