The First National Graduation Design Competition for Aerospace Students was held in Xi'an on May 29th. After fierce competition, Wang Hongyan, a student of the year 2015 from aircraft manufacturing engineering, School of Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mechanics of Tongji University, won a special prize under the guidance of Professor Li Yan. Wang Zhanyu and Tan Jiayi won awards of excellence. The competition which was the first of its kind, attracted a total of 159 entries by 38 schools from 27 universities across the country.
