On 22 July, German Development Report (2019) (German blue book) compiled by the German Research Center of Tongji University was released. Meanwhile, a seminar on Germany, Europe and Sino-German Relations was held at Tongji University.
The annual German Development Report made detailed analyses of the political, economic, social, cultural and diplomatic situations in Germany by tracking down the latest development and providing insight of scholars. Eight German Development Reports have been released since the publication of the first one in May 2012. The report has gained more and more popularity and become influential in research on Germany in China.
