With the COVID-19 prevention and control stepping towards normalization, great importance has been attached to the prevention and control requirements of the National Health Commission and Shanghai Municipal Education Commission under the prevention and control deployment of Tongji University. In order to maintain the accomplishments of the pandemic prevention and control, to safeguard the health of students and faculty and staff members, and to promote the comprehensive resumption of production and schools, the University Hospital (Siping Campus) officially began COVID-19 Nucleic Acid and Antibody Detection Testing on September 15, 2020. Detailed arrangements are as follows:
I. Individuals in the following categories:
People who are willing to take the test;
Risk assessment patients before diagnosis and treatment (such as patients with gastropod, surgery, oral treatment, etc.).
Hospital staff and escort personnel.
Note: None of the above categories include the patients who need to go to the fever clinic.
II.COVID-19 Nucleic Acid and Antibody Detection Test:
1. Nucleic Acid Test Days and Times: Tuesday and Thursday mornings (08:00-11:00) by appointment only. Please make an appointment at the service desk after payment is done.
Location: Opposite the Delivery room of Traditional Chinese Medicine herbs
2. Antibody Detection Testing Days and Times: Monday through Friday morning/afternoon (fasting is not required during work hours, test is available upon arrival and no appointment is required)
Location: Clinical Laboratory on the First Floor
III. Process of Nucleic Acid and Antibody Detection Tests:
Register according to the medical management process of COVID-19 → For the doctor to place a test order for the test taker→ Submit payment at the Registrar → Draw blood and print the bar-code for Nucleic Acid testing at the Clinical Laboratory on the First Floor → Make an appointment for the Nucleic Acid test time at the service desk → Nucleic acid test.
Note: Please bring bar-code, payment invoice, and relevant identification when testing Nucleic Acid.
