Mr. Zhou Jialun, director of school affair committee, was invited by civilian committee of Thailand premier office to pay a visit to Thailand. Tongji president Dongqi and owner of foreign students’ office accompanied Mr. Zhou during the visit.
The delegation met owners from government offices like Thailand civilian committee, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and held talks about students’ selection for the premier scholarship. Thai officials positively affirms Tongji’s efforts in developing the first group of thirty students for the premier scholarship, and stated that it would consider sending more students to Tongji. Mr. Zhou gave a full introduction about Tongji’s disciplines and welcomed more Thai students to study in Tongji. It is said that Tongji is the best one among 17 countries in developing students for Thailand Premier Scholarship.
