On March 16th, Tongji vice president Chen Xiaolong and Dr. Adachi, general manager of Horiba ATS, signed a purchasing agreement on wind tunnel scales and mobile system for Shanghai Traffic Tools Wind Tunnel Center. President Wan Gang attended the signing ceremony.
As the most important part of the first low noise wind tunnel in China, the testing equipment for air dynamics is applied to automobile industry for the first time in China. It can simulate mobile grounds and wheels’ rotation, to make wind tunnel experiment more like real conditions of a driving car. It is said that part of the spares are produced in China, reducing costs enormously.
