Under co-efforts of Chinese and foreign students of SEM, the Tongji International Club of SEM (TIC-SEM) was set up recently. TIC-SEM is a student organization to reinforce communication, enrich daily life by setting up a more wide platform, and provide more opportunities for Chinese and foreign students to learn from each other.
The first event TIC-SEM held is “Night of Chinese and Foreign Movies”. Over twenty foreign students and fifteen Chinese students got together and watched “Farewell My Concubine” directed by Chen kaige. The second event is to visit Tongji’s campus. Ten volunteers from School of Economics and Management shouldered this task. Other events included visit to Shanghai Museum.
