To improve the all-round execution of the 10+10 program signed between Tongji and University of California (UC), reinforce Tongji’s communication and cooperation with American first-level universities, scientific research organizations and enterprises, and extend Tongji’s influence in America, Standing Vice President Li Yongsheng led Tongji’s delegation to pay a visit to UC Berkeley, UC Santa Barbara, State University of Louisiana. They held in-depth talk with professors and researchers from related colleges and departments. Besides, the delegation also visited Stanford University, the University of Texas at Austin, Rice University, the Traffic Research Center at Louisiana, and Dell’s headquarter. The delegation also held parties with Tongji alumni association at Huston, talking about Tongji’s 100thanniversary.
