Sponsored by DAAD, the pre-work for the postgraduate co-development program between Tongji and Erlangen achieved stable improvement. The program started in 2005 for students' exchange, and will start the postgraduate co-development program when conditions are mature. Tongji sent four postgraduates to Erlangen University for the work of master degree, while German sided sent three students to Tongji for disciplinary design in College of Electronic and Information Engineering. The exchange will go on this year and students' selection has all completed. The program is helpful to improve communications and cooperation in teaching and researching between the two sides, as well as students’ development. Students who attended the program have made valuable and referential achievements. For example, Yangliu's work conclusion is selected by IEEE 49th International Conference.
