On the afternoon of September, Tongji International School held the beginning ceremony for new semester 2006-2007 in the first ground of Yifu Building. Nearly 300 foreign students from over 40 countries attended the ceremony. During the ceremony, president assistant Dong Qi, President Cai Jianguo delivered the welcoming speech, and introduced the general information of Tongji and the teaching schedule. They hoped foreign students could follow up related rules, study hard and complete their study successfully.
After the ceremony, the new students were divided into three groups, with three teachers giving directions in English, Japanese and Korean.
