On October 19th, Tongji Vice President Chen Xiaolong met with president delegation from Institute of Technology and Science Monterry (ITESM) in the International Meeting Center in Jiading Campus. Staff from Foreign Affairs Office, College of Mechanical Engineering, College of Software Engineering, College of International Culture and Communication also attended the meeting.
Mr. Chen introduced in detail Tongji’s development history and the general information about Jiading Campus, as well as furthered the communication in cooperative fields. Dr. Rafael Rangel, president of ITESM, showed great interest to the construction and development of Jiading Campus, and stated that it was the third time for ITESM to visit Tongji. He hoped for more sincere cooperation in engineering industry with Tongji Unversity.
After the meeting, the Mexican guests visited libraries of College of Mechanical Engineering and College of Software Engineering accompanied by related staff.
