Since the September 2001 subscription of the agreement of inter-university exchange program, and the 2004 subscription of the agreement of students exchange, the two universities have carried out extensive and frequent interflows and cooperations, especially in the field of civil engineering. Tongji has successively sent ten students of civil engineering, medicine and mechanism for one-year studying abroad.
