The 3rdInternational Lecturing Week of Rail Transit Technology, sponsored by The Institute of Railway and Urban Rail Transit came to its successful completion the other day. The five-day activity held in the International Convention Center on Jiading Campus Tongji invited scholars, professors and experts from Germany, France, Austria and U.S.A to share and exchange their researching fruits on the theme of High-Speed Vehicle(HSV) and Multiple Unit Train Technology.
Many disquisitions on the topics of The Situations and Strategies of Developing High-speed Railway in China, High-speed Vehicle Dynamics and Measurement, Safe and Reliable Bogie Design based on the European Normal, Multiple Units of TGV and Traction Technology, HSV Breaking System, Remote Supervision and Diagnosis, HSV Aerodynamics, Sound Insulation of HSV, Information Transmission and Control Network of HSV were presented and discussed during the lecturing. About 300 students and teachers of Tongji as well as people working in the concerning fields attended.
This annual academic pageant is one of the international academic interflow activities fostered by Shanghai municipal government, aiming at promoting the development of track-communications in China through international discussion on new technologies and theories.
