On the afternoon of November 12th, the Zhiyuan team from the College of Automobile, Tongji University took part in the 2006 China Honda Energy-saving Technical Competition and won The Best Performance, The Best Technique and the Champion of Motor Heroes (on college level). They created a record high of covering 331.623 km with only one liter gas.
In the morning match, Zhiyuan had already kept a far leading position over the others by covering 291.992 km with one liter, but still unsatisfied, they remained scrutinizing on every detail and strived for the better.
It is said that Zhiyuan team of Tongji started its participation in the Competition in 2000 and was once awarded the prize “Dream Special”. It is its seventh show in the Competition and also the best one.
