On November 16th, an awarding ceremony was held in the Classroom of Allianz of Sino-Deutsche College where Mr. Heinz Dollberg, Executive Vice President of Allianz Group's Asia-Pacific Division was conferred the honorary title of "the Counselor Professor of Tongji" for his and Anllianz's continued supports to Tongji and the Sino-Deutsche College over the past few decades. President of Tongji, Mr. Wan Gang handed over the certificate and pinned the badge of Tongji for Mr. Heinz Dollberg. Mr. Wan also expected Mr. Heinz Dollberg to frequent Tongji and impart his rich experience on banking and insurance to the students. Mr. Heinz Dollberg expressed heartfelt thanks to Tongji and then delivered a report titledBank Insurance——An Active Channel of Sales.
On his first visit to Tongji in 1995, Mr. Heinz Dollberg proposed and managed to establish in the same year the Allianz Professorship Foundation and Allianz Group became the first sponsor in the Sino-Deutsche College. Soon the setup of the Classroom of Allianz ensued.
