Recently, under the lead of DFG's(Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft)vice president Prof. FrankSteglich, the 16 of German reporters delegation visited Tongji. Wan Gang, the president of Tongji met them with heartfelt welcome in the assembly room of the Architecture and Urban Planninng School. The head of the school gave the introduction of the school to the guests, with the focus on the planning of 2010 Expo. He also showed hope that DFG can cooperate with Tongji in the development program of 2010 Expo.
Before that the delegation went to the Jiading Campus of Tongji. They visited the New Energy Resources Engineering Center under the lead of a head of the related school.
The members of the delegation come respectively from Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Sueddeutsche Zeitung, Time, Berliner Zeitung, World Journal, Mirror, and Deutsche Presse Agentur (DPA).Their visit to china aims to learn about our development in scientific research and the Sino-German cooperation in science.
