The post-graduates Fenglin festival in our school came to an end. On the evening of Dec. 15th, the arts performance of Fenglin festival was held in 129 Hall on Siping campus. Jinming Ma attended the party and Yiyi Chen made the closing speech.
The party can be divided into three parts. The first part is “glorious history”. It started with the VCR of Tongji 100-year history. It embodies that Tongji is a university with long and glorious history as well as cultural deposits. The performers performed songs, dances and piano, all of which are so familiar to the audience to bring them back to those classic old days. The second part is “red Fenglin”. In this part, the programs are close to the life of the students. It mainly contained modern dance, solo, street dance and opusculum. They meant to show the new spirit and active life attitudes of the modern students. Among them, there were also aerobics, jazz and Indian dance. At the same time, the programs of the students from Fudan University, Jiaotong University and Shanghai University were also wonderful. The third part is “wishes for 100thanniversary”. It began with a VCR of 100thanniversary celebration”. During the Fenglin festival, postgraduates association collected wishes from thousands of students for Tongji 100thanniversary. They put all the wishes on a wall as a special birthday gift for Tongji. At last, the party successfully ended with the opera extract “sleepless tonight” from the famous singer Wei Li.
The 22ndFenglin festival takes “beautiful Fenglin, wishes for 100thbirthday” as its subject. It includes activities about academy, arts, sports, practice and life. It held 9 lectures, 2 large scale parties, 3 balls, over 80 school-wide basketball and football matches and showed 11 movies. It successfully planned and organized postgraduates’ singing contest, winners in hunting jobs, entrepreneurs’ forum, cooking contest as well as rose dating, etc. which brought very good echo from university and outside.
