“2006 Christmas & New Year Reception Conference of Tongji University” was held in the all-purpose parlor on Dec 20th. Vice president Yongsheng Li gave a speech. All the foreign experts, some teachers and leaders in colleges and departments attended the conference. Students from cinema college and music department gave a wonderful performance to welcome New Year and Tongji 100thbirthday.
International exchange college held ‘2006 Christmas party” in the exchange students’ building. 200 exchange students from more than 40 countries joined together to celebrate Christmas. There were a whole range of programs in the party. Every one enjoyed the party, singing, dancing and playing musical instruments. During the party, the exchange students presented their teachers cards and flowers to appreciate their hard working. It was very moving. At last, a German student, dressed in Santa Claus, performed the famous “jingle bells” while sending presents to the audience and making wishes. This was the climax of the party.
In economics management college, 170 teachers Chinese and abroad spent a memorable Christmas evening together. During the party, Santa Claus from time to time sent presents to the audience, which added festivity of the party. The audience enjoyed delicious foods made by Jinjiang cook while appreciating wonderful programs, guitar, hip-hop, English songs, games and so on. It was a sea of happiness.
