On April 22nd, 2007, “Ya Long Industry Cup” China City Dragon Boat Tournament will be held by Tong Ji University and Pu Tuo District government. This competition on the other hand is one of the vital celebrating activities of Tong Ji 100thanniversaries. Jan. 15th, President Wan Gang and Head Official of Pu Tuo District signed contract jointly. The Party Committee Secretary Mr. Zhou Jialun and District Committee Secretary of Pu Tuo District attend signing ceremony.
According to the agreement, the Dragon Boat Competition will be held in the afternoon of April 22ndalong Suzhou River (from Jiang Ning Road Bridge to Chang Hua Road Bridge in Pu Tuo District). Competition entries are college students from mainland, Taiwan, Macau, and Hong Kong, as well as the teams composed of government officials or staff members working in Pu Tuo District.
