The Vice-President Li Guoqiang met the President Delegation of Canadian Athabasca University in Yi Fu Building recently. Mr. Li introduced the historical development of Tong Jji and the brief schedule of centennial ceremony. The President of Athabasca University Dr. Frits Pannekoek appreciated the great hospitality of Tong Ji University, and then had a further discussion on the development of remote network education and the potential corporation in this field. The leaders of Foreign Affaires Office, School of Network Education and Graduate School attended the meeting.
After talk, the delegation was showed around Tong Ji campus.
The remote network education of Athabasca University, which covers almost every subject and field in academy, includes both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and it enjoys a high reputation in Canada.
