As part of the 100th anniversary celebration activities, hosted by our school together with China Medical Association--cardiovascular disease physician branch and Yangming university in Taiwan and undertook by our school’s 10th attached hospital and Rongming general hospital in Taiwan, the 2nd “100th Tongji, 100th medicine”---Strait coronary heart disease modern treatment summit was held in Shanghai International Conference Center from 4/14-4/15. Over 1500 experts and students attended it. The president of the forum, the dean of our medicine college, Dayi Hu and director of the medical science research center of Yangming University, director of the medical department in Taiwan Rongmin hospital, Xingrong Lin exchanged the Straits One-heart Card.
The focus of this forum is coronary heart disease. Cardiovascular specialist will hold lectures, discussions and so on to exchange and explore the latest research, technology and ideas about the interference and various treatments, medicine, involvement, operation and stem cell transplanting, of coronary heart disease. Dayi Hu said that the forum, taking the coronary heart disease as a hint, intended to discuss the experience in preventing, treatment and management of such chronic disease, so that more people can lead a healthy life.
This forum is also the time when the 1st Great Wall international angiocardiology online conference was transmitted through angiocarpy website. Over 2200 experts in this field were invited. As introduced, over 70,000 people registered on the website, they can raise questions and exchange with each other.
During the forum, Dayi Hu held a lecture named “quitting smoking and the responsibility of heart physicians”.
