To support Tongji education and to celebrate the 100th birthday of Tongji, the president of Taiwan Xie Group, Ximou Xie donated 50 million to Tongji University. Taiwan Xie Group is a holding company for investment mainly specializing in gold, importing of golden adornments, real estate investment and first market investment. Mr. Ximou Xie’s nationality is Taiwan, China. His major is construction aesthetics and gem study. He won the Golden Censer Prize. Mr. Xie holds the idea that “Elites come from education, and education depends on persistence” and donated to education. May 16th saw the signing ceremony of the agreement in the Yifu Building. Our vice principal Xiaolong Chen representing our school signed the agreement with Mr. Xie. Our principal Gang Wan attended the ceremony.
