Dr. Jürgen Schade, Director of DPMA, was appointed honored professor of Tong Ji University. The ceremony was held in the afternoon of May 18thon Siping campus. President of Tong Ji, Minister of Science and Technology Ministry Prof. Wan Gang, Director of State Intellectual Property Office and honored professor of School of Intellectual Property Prof. Tian Lipu, Director of Shanghai Intellectual Property Office Prof. Chen Zhixing, Commissioner of German Academic Exchange Center Prof. Sund, vice-principal of CDHK Prof. Zimmer, Vice-principal of School of Intellectual Property Prof. Shan Xiaoguang attended the ceremony.
Dr. Schade, who was engaged in researches on intellectual property in MPG, now enjoys high reputation in international intellectual property field. He worked in WTO during early 80s, and was later selected member of parliament of Freistaat Bayern and Presiding Judge of Federal Intellectual Court in 90s. In the year of 2001, he was appointed the director of DPMA.
