In the evening of May 20th, the celebration party “long live the youth” held on Siping campus. Attendants include Deputy Minister of Education Ministry Wu Qidi, school authorities, Secretary of Communist Party of Yangpu District and alumni from home and abroad.
The party began with dance “flying”. Then former president Wu qidi delivered her congratulatory speech. When the student chorus, teacher chorus and retired working stuff chorus sang “Song of Tong Ji”, the President Wan conducted in person.
In the evening party, many stars, like Jiang Dawei, Han Lei, Sun Nan, Band “Yu Quan” and Cai Guoqing gave a marvelous show. The Secretaries of Tong Ji and Yang Pu District make a small speech, in which expressed the determination and hopes of co-operation in the development of Yang Pu knowledge innovation district in the future Then, the representatives of teaching stuff—Prof. Li Jie from School of Civil Engineering, Prof. Chen Yihan from Genetic Research Institute, Prof. Jiang Changjun from School of Electronics and Information Engineering expressed the resolution to pass down Tong Ji spirit.
In gorgeous fireworks, the evening party was ended.
