A cooperation agreement was signed between University Politècnica of Valencia (UPV) and Tongji recently. On the signing ceremony held in Yifu Building, the president of UPV Prof. Juan Igual and the vice-president of our university Prof. Chen Xiaolong signed the agreement on behalf of two parties. The vice-president of UPV Prof. Francisco Mas witnessed the ceremony.
According to the provisions and terms, the exchange and cooperation programs, including student exchange, research cooperation, etc., will be undertaken from 2008. The successful sign of the contract means the establishment of long-lasting friendship between two universities, said Prof. Chen Xiaolong, more cooperation programs that cover more students and teaching stuff in different research fields will be carried out in the future.
