Themed on “multi-cultural teaching of western architecture history”, the second international conference of on Teaching and Research Seminar was held in CAUP of the University.
Keynote speeches were made by Prof. Stanford Anderson from MIT, Prof. Xu Chaoquan from Hongkong University and Prof. Lu Yongyi from CAUP of Tongji University. Special guests from different universities or institutions exchanged ideas and personal views on the discussed topics.
In the afternoon, the Zhongting Hall witnessed the opening ceremony of National Higher Education Teaching Exploration of Western Architecture History Exhibitions and Prof. Luo Xiaowei’s Teaching Experiences of Foreign Architecture History Exhibition.
It is reported that dozens of scholars of Architecture Institutions or Colleges from Canada, Australia and the USA carried out in-depth discussion on the issues of reflections on multi-cultural teaching of western architecture history, teaching plan of western architecture history, and methodology of western architecture history.
