The three-day “Yinquan Cup” RoboCup China Open was ended in Shandong Normal University. The Tongji Delegation, which was composed of students from School of Electronic and Information Engineering, won the first runner-up in four-leg robot competition.
There are in all more than 400 teams and over 1000 players taking part in the competition. In order to achieve good results, sustainable research of the Robot Football was undertaken in the process of preparation. During the competition, the first game with USTC was finished in 3:3 draw. And the game with Xiamen University and Beijing University of Technology were ended with 7:1 and 5:1 respectively.
It is reported that Tongji University will participate the 12thRobocup held in Suzhou next year.
