Prof. Li Yongsheng Paid a Visit to USA

Oct. 26thto Nov. 2nd, a delegation led by Prof. Li Yongsheng, the Executive Vice President of the University paid a visit to GE Knowledge Center and UC Davis, as well as Jorge Town University, Washington University, Michigan University Anna-burg Campus, and UC Los Angeles in the USA.

During his visit in GE Knowledge Center, Chris Pruitt, the Senior Manager of GE Engineering College, Debi Cohoon, the Director of GE University, and Debora Peak, the Program Director of PACE gave thorough introductions of the development of Knowledge Center,educational training programs and PACE respectively. Prof. Li praised highly the programs, and expressed his hopes and expectations of more practical and deeper collaboration from both parties on PACE.

In UC Davis, Prof. Li Yongsheng held a discussion with Dan Sperling, Dean of Transportation Research Institute and Yunshi Wang, Director of Chinese Resource and Transportation Center. They reviewed the joint research in the field of transportation and automobiles and explored the possibilities of future cooperation under the structure of 10 + 10 Alliance. During the discussion, Robert Kerr, Director of International Exchange and Alumni Affairs Office of UC Davis put forward a brief introduction of international exchange and cooperation programs of the University. In additions, Prof. Li met teachers and students of our University who are attending in advanced studies or pursuing their degrees.
