On the morning of Nov. 9th, Dr. Jerald L. Schnoor, a professor of Faculty of Municipal and Environmental Engineering of Iowa University gave a lecture in the School of Environmental Science and Engineering of Tongji University. Professors and students from the University exchanged ideas with Dr. Jerald, and raised many questions concerning about the ES& T, and research in environmental field.
Dr. Jerald L. Schnoor is a member of the United States NAE and executive editor of famed periodical entitled Environmental Science and Technology (ES&T). In his lecture, he first introduced the ES&T, and the standards or requirements of publishing academic papers. Then he delivered a speech centered on “the contemporary research focus in environmental science and engineering”.
