Lately Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) course class jointly held by College of Economy and Administration of Tongji and French Grenoble Ecole de Management got the certification of international MBA association (AMBA) College of Economy and Administration in Tongji University. This course class became the only domestic DBA project, which has got the international certification.
In April 2001, Tongji University and Grenoble Ecole de Management signed cooperative agreement and began to prepare for the DBA project. In May 2002, the DBA project was officially launched and started recruit students. The school was situated at College of Economy and Administration in Tongji University. From 2005, this class began to recruit students from all over the world and the present students were from China Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, France, Switzerland, Finland, US, Canada and other countries. Up to 2007, this project has recruited 65 students in 6 periods and the students finished their studies successively and obtained DBA degrees of Grenoble Ecole de Management.
