On the afternoon of April 15th,Tongji Henkel Daycampus propaganda activity with the theme ofHenkel-----A Great Place to workwas held in the lecture room of Ruian Building in Siping Road Campus. Top leaders of Henkel: Mr. Jan Dirk Auris, Asia-Pacific president of Henkel--the world’ s top 500 enterprises, Mr. Walter Wers, global automobile marketing director, Ms. Sun Zhengzheng, Asia-Pacific human resources director, Mr. Jin Hui, Asia-Pacific automobile business director and some Tongji alumni working in Henkel were present at the activity. Prof. Yu Zhuoping, the president’s assistant and dean of College of Automobile, Tongji University and Henkel chair professors in Tongji received the guests.
This activity was divided into two parts. The first part was question-response interaction between the top leaders and students. Students of Tongji and top leaders of Henkel communicated in English face-to-face. The questions elaborately prepared by the host and wise and humorous answers of the top leaders won applause from the audience. During the audience’s questioning part, the students came to understand Henkel’s culture and values as well as occupational instructions through the guests’ answers. The second part was vigorous and wonderfulHenkel and IEnglish acting competition. The excellent performance of the contestants impressed the guests and audience deeply. Finally students from College of Automobile, Environmental Engineering College and College of Traffic & Transportation won the seven awards respectively.
