On the afternoon of October 24th, a study in Germany consultation meeting was held in the hall of school comprehensive building. Zhou Jialun, director of the university administration council welcomed the German universities delegation led by Dr. Johann Gerlach, councilman of Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD).
More than 20 German universities and institutes participated in this study in Germany consultation meeting. In half-of-a-day time altogether more than 1500 students from Tongji and some other universities came for consultation. During the meeting, DAAD, Akademische Prüfstelle (APS), Test DaF-Institut and visa section of German Consulate-General in Shanghai gave introduction respectively. The university preparatory section for study in Germany introduced particularly the German and culture training programs of the students intending to go Germany.
