On the afternoon of April 21st, the University Vice-President Dong Qi met Prof. Hallberg, President of Uppsala University in Sweden and his delegation.
The two sides reviewed the cooperation in the past few years. Then Dong introduced the campuses construction and disciplinary development and highly appreciated the exchange and cooperation projects between the two sides. He also hoped to extend the cooperation to the other fields and apply for the research and exchange programs supported by EU and Middle East framework agreement. Prof. Hallberg agreed with Dong’s proposals, and hoped to further intensify the cooperation in the field of software engineering. During the meeting, the two sides also signed agreement on joint training master's program on software engineering.
