On Nov. 14th, Assistant President Hu Zhanfei attended the opening ceremony for Hong Kong Poly University Study Trips in Shanghai at Sino-Finnish Center, Tongji University. 12 professors from Poly U including Prof. Xu Xingquan, Dean of College of Engineer and Luo Xuan, Director of the Chinese Mainland Affairs Office as well as students and faculty from Tongji College of Design & Innovation were present at the ceremony. The study trips starts from Nov. 7th -Nov. 20th, with 38 teachers and students divided into 2 groups from Poly U.
Meanwhile, Deans and professors of Software Engineering, Economics & Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Information Engineering, Architecture & Urban Planning and Design &Innovation from both sides set up direct links and had discussions on the working plan for the year of 2012, including the collaboration on summer school, internship, student exchange program and double degree program for MA and PhD students during the visit of professors of Hong Kong Poly U.
