From Nov. 24th to Nov. 25th, Tongji University and Politecnico di Milano successfully staged the Scientific and Research Cooperation Forum in Tongji. Fang Shouen, Vice Chairman of Tongji University Council, Vice President Dong Qi, Vice Rector Sandro Balducci and Vice Rector Giuliano Noci of Politecnico di Milano and Mr. De Luca, Consul General of Italy in Shanghai attended the forum and delivered a speech. Prof. Fang Shouen expressed his appreciation to participants and introduced the cooperation reality with Politecnico di Milano. He encouraged and emphasized joint cooperation of scientific, research and co-training of talents with Politecnico di Milano. While acknowledging the fruit of co-training of undergraduate and postgraduate students, the forum also aims at improving a high-level cooperation providing a platform of knowledge exchange in various fields. Through two day discussion, an agreement on double degree of PHD program was reached in Architecture, Urban Planning, Aerospace and Design.
