On November 14, the plaque unveiling ceremony of Tongji Liaison Office at Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) was attended and celebrated by Tongji President Pei Gang, PolyU President Timothy Tong, professors, staff, students, and Tongji alumni. Setting up Tongji Liaison Office at PolyU is another milestone witnessing the enhanced cooperation and profound friendship between the two sides. The two universities’ undergraduate student exchange program has expanded from 5 to 40 students per year. In the spring semester of 2013, the first patch of 8 Tongji dual-degree PhD students will start their study and research in PolyU. Other programs such as joint summer course, graduation project/thesis supervision, and internship are running well and making further progress.
