A roadshow is a characteristic performing form of the student art group of Tongji University, as well as an important channel to deliver campus art and culture. On the afternoon of June 9th, a graduation theme roadshow was held at the Sunken Square of the Siping campus by the student art group consisting of the folk music, dancing, and host groups, the Xingkong performing group, the Guitar Association, and the Jinyin Flute Club.
The graduation theme roadshow started by Zhangsan De Ge (Zhangsan’ s Song) by Guo Yiran ofthe Xingkong performing group. “We’ll fly away to see more of the world,”(the last line of the song) touched everyone deeply. Zhi Qing Chun (To Our Prime), performed by the dancing group, best demonstrated the days in Tongji University. And then Cao Cheng, a member of the Guitar Association, played Mei Gui (Rose) which was warmly welcomed by the passersby. The folk music group performed the most popular vintage-style song,Liang Liang (The Cold Peach-blossom), giving full play to the characters of traditional Chinese music instruments. And finally, the Jinyin Flute Club played Song Bie (Farewell), expressing their best wishes to all the graduates.
