On Feb. 7, 2018, the 34th Antarctic exploration team of China held a ground-breaking ceremony for China’s 5th Antarctic Expedition Station in the Antarctic Ennks Island (commonly known as the ‘Inexpressible Island’ in the world). The new station marked a remarkable progress in China's Antarctic exploration, which was attributable to the effort made by experts from Tongji University.
