On April 2, the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council released a list of degree authorization points 2019 for organizations that are entitled to revoke or add degree authorization points through self-assessment. As one of the first batch of universities in China that were authorized to award degrees though self-assessment, our university is approved to add the first-level discipline in basic medicine under which to award doctorate degrees, the second-level inter-discipline in intelligent science and technology under which to award doctorate degrees, and the professional Master’s degree programs in applied statistics and in sports.
