Recently, ZHAO Zhipeng and SONG Zenan, undergraduates of 2018 of our university, won the First Prize of Mathematics Group (Advanced Class) and the Second Prize of non-Mathematics Group, respectively, in the 11th Chinese Mathematics Competitions (CMC), with ZHAO scoring 1st in the Mathematics Group (Advanced Class). Started in 2009, the CMC this year has two stages of preliminary and final. 170,787 students from 849 colleges and universities across the country competed in the preliminary, and 605 from 204 colleges and universities entered the final. The School of Mathematical Science undertook the relevant training for the event.
