Application

1. Complete the application form online at http://study-info.tongji.edu.cn

2. Download the completed application form in PDF and print it.

3. Pay registration fee

Ø Application fee: CNY 600  The applicationfee is non-refundable.

Ø How to pay the fee?

• Pay it by bank transfer and submita photocopy of the transfer voucher along with application materials.

• Alternatively, you may pay it when submitting the documents at International Student Office in person.

4. Submit application documents

Applicants must submit or entrust others to submit the application form and other supporting documents in person or send them by post. Application documents must be received before the deadline.

Admission

Ø The admission is based on assessment of the application materials.

Ø No entrance examination is required.

Ø An interview may be required depending on each individual case.

Ø You may track your application process online at http://study-info.tongji.edu.cn Your admission status will change when you are admitted.

Ø The admissionletter and visa application document (JW202 Form) will beposted to you from the end of June to the beginning of July if you are admitted.

Registration

Ø The admitted applicant shall bringtheir passport,Admission Letter, Visa Application Form (JW202) to the Embassy or Consulate of the People's Republic of China, and apply for a student visa. 

Ø Students shall come to Tongji University forregistration of admission before the deadline indicated on the Admission Letter.

Ø The first year at Tongji University is of vital importance for all Master’s and doctoral students. Only those who have passed all the exams required for the degree program in the first academic year are eligible for preparing for their degree thesis/dissertation. Those who fail the degree exams will be considered as students on an advanced course.
