There are as many as twelve hospitals in Shanghai that are affiliated to Tongji University. Besides, some hospitals are officially authorized to provide medical care to the foreign community. The medical services are conprehensive at  the University Hospital at Siping Campus where most of the international students are.Emergency service is available on campus at this hospital.
