On the morning of March 21th, the Entrepreneurship Heroes program team from the Business Channel of CCTV (China Central TV) came to Tongji University to discuss with young entrepreneurs of Tongji for selection of entrepreneurial projects.


Entrepreneurship Heroes, as the first large-scale open program of CCTV tailored for young entrepreneurs have staged over 336 young entrepreneurs by the end of May 2017 as result of their nationwide auditions in cities and universities. For this year, they came to Shanghai, and in particular, Tongji Venture Valley to help young entrepreneurs from Tongji University to realize their dreams.
Eleven projects from environmental engineering, new materials, intelligent construction, intelligent automobiles, innovative education and biomedical science were showcased at the Tongji Venture Valley. Five projects were selected with one on the waiting list after two hours of roadshow at Tongji University.
It was the first time for the program team to have an audition at Tongji. The program producer showed his appreciation for the high quality of projects from Tongji University and expressed his hope to strengthen the cooperation with Tongji through roadshows so that more projects will appear on the national stage of CCTV. The young Tongji entrepreneurs from the selected projects will receive a series of training and eventually show at the stage of Entrepreneurship Heroes to compete with other national outstanding entrepreneurs.
