Recently, Tongji Venture Valleyand ShanghaiBusiness Incubator of Tongji University Science Park were successfully awarded thetitle of “National Undergraduate Entrepreneurship DemonstrationPark”. Our schoolis the only one in Shanghai to winthe title.

In 2013, TongjiUniversity invested special funds to set up Tongji Venture Valley with the goal of giving birth to excellent innovativeand entrepreneurialprojects, cultivating prominent innovativeand entrepreneurialtalents and providing good innovativeand entrepreneurialservices to promote the comprehensive interaction of five elements:university, business, government, society and capital.

In the last three years, Venture Valley hasreceived applications for779 projects with market friendliness, foresightand interdisciplinarity from 28 colleges and departments of Tongji. 302 projectteams entered Venture Valley and more than 1100 students become membersof Venture Valley after assessment. 66 project teams who came intoentity operation after the cultivation of Venture Valley attractedover 48.64 million RMB in total social investments, while Tongji Venture Valley attractednearly 100 millionRMB insocial donations.Tongji Venture Valley and Tongji University Science Park have gradually formed and established professional incubation service platforms with different sections,including investment and financing, human resources, entrepreneurship training and marketing,and so on.
