As a new trend in the field of design, Digital Design is spreading quickly worldwide. In China, we need to break down the boundaries between architecture, industrial design, media design, and etc. to develop inter-disciplinary cooperation with an open design process among these fields.The Summer Camp promotes the integration of the technical innovation brought by computer technology, synchronously putting the interaction technology, computer-aided design, parametric design, robotic technology, 3D scanning and printing, digital projection and other cutting-edge digital technologies on one platform, to define a new era of digital synergy. This Digital Camp will include three parallel sessions, individuals can pick the topic that most intrigues them. Please read the details.

Workshop Goal //
The students are required to learn the fundamental techniques of Rhino and Grasshopper. They are encouraged to understand how to use digital tools as form finding and design strategy. Basic steps of transferring digital geometry into physical models will be instructed to participate. It will cover phases of “Surface”, “Subdivision”, “Labeling” and “Assembly”.
