As the 2020 military training drew to a close, Tongji University held the "Dream of Building a Strong Army, Celebrate the Centenary of the Founding of the Party" Military Training Singing Competition and Military-Civilian Gala at the Jiading Campus and Siping Road Campus on the evenings of September 7 and 8, respectively. Our University’s retired college instructors and students sang enthusiastically and ignited the passion of youth with a majestic audiovisual feast.

On the football field of the Jiading campus, the Tongji University Student Street Dance Association "C4 family" paid tribute to the soldiers with the original dance "Triumph." The students waved their national flags and mobile phone flashes and sang "I Love You, China" loudly in a "red sea" and "starry sky." The retired college instructors also performed on stage to "present a gift" and brought a wonderful dance "Yes! Ok!" to the freshmen. The gala finally brought the atmosphere to a climax with a chorus of thousands of people singing the "Battle Song for Strengthening the Army."

The Dragon dance, lion dance, flag dance and other wonderful programs were staged one right after the other on the 1·29 playground of the Siping Road Campus. The students sang out their youth with original rap, and adapted dances such as "Priceless Sister" and "Big Bowl Wide Noodle" together with the instructors. The training teachers and students also performed the recitation "Report to the Motherland, Please Rest Assured" on the spot. The live singing session was particularly exciting. The students from all campuses competed with each other enthusiastically, roaring one after another. In their loud military singing, the gala came to a successful conclusion.
