On June 11, the Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture (ACADIA) released lists of academic award winners of this year. The 2020 ACADIA Academic Program Award of Excellence was awarded to the teaching program DigitalFUTURES Working Camp which was co-chaired by Professor YUAN Feng and guest professor Neil Leach from the digital design and construction team of College of Architecture and Urban Planning (CAUP), Tongji University with support from CAUP, Shanghai Digital Fabrication Engineering Technology Center (SDFETC) and from Peak Discipline Construction Programs for Universities in Shanghai.

ACADIA is an international organization composed of researchers and professionals of digital design. Its annual international conference is among the most professional ones in digital design of architecture in the world. The ACADIA awards established in 1998 recognize winners from the world for their continuous contributions in architectural computing.








DigitalFUTURES Working Camp is a non-profit global digital research and education platform founded by YUAN Feng and Neil Leach, and organized by CAUP and SDFETC in 2011. It is not only an intelligent revolution in digital design and robot construction, but also a new interpretation of social and cultural life in the post-digital era.
