Tongji Logistics Group make all efforts to safeguard resumption of school

Since April 27, Tongji University has madearrangements for students to return to school in an orderly manner. To support such arraignments, all centers of Tongji Logistics Group have been busy implementing the pandemic prevention and control measureson campus to safeguard the resumption of school.

The Food Center of Tongji Logistics Group planned to resume food service at different canteens in three consecutive times to ensure the quality and quantity of food.Among the first to resume food service were the sections ofChinese foodandwestern foodat Xiyuan Canteen, sections of fried dishesand special cuisines atXueyuan Canteen, the fast food section at Dongyuan Canteenand the second fast food section at Jiayuan Canteen. Meanwhile, pandemic prevention measures were taken meticulously at these canteens where volunteers took body temperature of each person upon their entry to the canteen and reminded them of social distancing.

The Property Centerplannedcleaning and sterilizingof all public places in a careful manner. Porters of student dorms not only sterilized the public areas on a daily basis, but also offered caring service by taking onlineCloud Ordersfrom studentsto help them remove stale stuffout of theirroomsand open windows to air their rooms. Office buildings, classrooms, reading rooms, meeting rooms, elevators, toilets were thoroughly disinfected, and doors and windows of public places were regularly opened for ventilation.

The Engineering Centerresumed its maintenance of the campus landscapesand facilitiesas well as its service of receiving and dispatching letters and packages on a daily basisin addition to its regular responsibilities of cleaning and sterilizing the campus. The Conference Centerfurther improved its managementby enhancing its daily responsibilities during the pandemic time. The Education Supermarket on campus regularly sterilized its business and office areas. A notice board about how to take pandemic prevention was put at the entrance of the supermarket where every customer was required to take bodytemperature to guarantee safe shopping indoors.
