On May 21, a group of award-winning works of the 2019 Public Service Announcements (PSA) Contest of Shanghai College Students was exhibited in the South Shaanxi Road Station, Shanghai. The “PSA Open Gallery of Shanghai College Students in Metro Station” was unveiled, adding another venue to display students’ creative works for the public interest. The 2020 PSA Contest of Shanghai College Students officially kicked off under the theme of “Micro Charity, Mighty Generation”.

The 2019 contest started in March last year and received 2,600 works from more than 30 colleges and universities in Shanghai, including 1,837 graphic works, 275 video works, 163 broadcasting works, 185 copywriting works, and 151 new media (H5) works. More than 2,000 students participated in the contest. Tongji students won 1 gold award, 5 silver awards, 2 bronze awards and 10 outstanding awards.

The 2020 PSA Contest of Shanghai College Students welcomes students from the whole country, but especially those whose universities are located within the Yangtze Delta area. Centering on such aspects as core socialist values, fine traditional Chinese culture, achievements in the fight against COVID-19, integration of the Yangtze Delta area, the development of social morality, professional ethics, family virtues and personal morality, as well as the “New Seven No’s” norms, this year’s contest will collect works in four categories -- graphics, videos, broadcasting and interactive works.
